SINAIS DOS TEMPOS (click here english version)

Cresci em uma pequena cidade onde encontrar videogames e jogos não era uma fácil tarefa. Alguns itens de Atari surgiam naquelas terras distantes de vez em vez, mas eu queria mesmo era um Odyssey. Felizmente, meu pai viajava costumeiramente à cidade grande. Lembro-me do dia em que, por volta das 3 horas da madrugada ele surgiu com aquela caixa enorme. Foi mágico, logo abri a caixa, tudo com aquele cheirinho de coisa nova. Li todos os manuais, certificados de garantia, a revista Odyssey Aventura incluída no pacote. Dormi muito pouco, lá pelas 8 da manhã estava em pé, ansioso para ligar o Odyssey e desfrutá-lo. Passei o dia jogando Fórmula 1, Interlagos e Criyptologic, que eram os jogos contidos no cartucho que acompanhava o produto.

Sempre que meu pai ia à São Paulo, novos jogos apareciam. Lembro-me, certa manhã,  eu estava com uma preguiça de sair da cama. Minha mãe falou: "Seu pai trouxe cartuchos". Foi o suficiente para que eu saltasse imediatamente da cama e corresse à sala para ver as novidades, meus primeiros jogos foram (após o 3 em 1): Defensores da Liberdade, OVNI, Duelo no Velho Oeste e Acróbatas. Certo dia cheguei a sonhar que meu pai havia trazido novos jogos e escondido embaixo da cama. Um deles era "O Segredo do Faraó", ao acordar cheguei a espiar  embaixo da cama, mas tudo fora um sonho. Como havia prometido, no post anterior, pretendia fazer no mês de março, um mês dedicado aos monstros, tinha intenção de iniciá-lo com um post diferente. Na última quinta-feira foi aniversário de meu pai, liguei para parabenizá-lo, mas ele não estava bem. No dia seguinte, ele piorou e tive que fazer uma viagem de emergência. Felizmente, agora ele parece melhor. Esses acontecimentos, de certa forma trouxeram essas memórias à tona. É triste pensar que aquele senhor jovem e saudável que trazia novos jogos em suas idas à cidade grande. Não traz mais jogos, e o pior jã não é mais tão jovem e saudável como costumava ser. Devido minha paixão por monstros, costumava pedir ao meu pai que ele trouxesse o "Em Busca dos Anéis Perdidos",  Mas sua busca pelo "Em busca" nunca restou frutífera. Não tem problema, cada um dos jogos que ganhei divertiram muito minha infância. Obrigado, pai! Em Busca dos Anéis Perdidos foi um dos jogos que me fez escolher o Odyssey. Antes do aparecimento dos videogames, minhas uma de minhas grandes paixões eram os filmes com as incríveis criaturas de Ray Harryhausen. Com os videogames, era como se eu pudesse viver aquelas maravilhosas aventuras. Tudo no "Em Busca" era incrivelmente bem feito, da arte da capa aos itens contidos na embalagem, faziam do jogo uma verdadeira obra-prima. Além do "Em Busca", outro jogo que me fascinou, a primeira vista,  foi a " Serpente do Poder".

Poucos monstros habitaram o universo Odyssey. Além destes já citados, temos a criatura espacial do jogo Alien. Outro jogo, bem interessante, chame-se "Le Tresor Englouti". Infelizmente, este não foi lançado por aqui. Atualmente, temos as ótimas criaturas da série Mage e muitos outras devem surgir. O G7400 teve um jogo chamado Norseman, que na minha opinião é o melhor da escassa biblioteca exclusiva. Pelas razões já descritas, decidi tentar fazer uma versão de Norseman compatível com o nosso Odyssey e é com esta imagem que encerro o post desta semana.

I grew up in a small town where to find video games and games was not an easy task. Some Atari items arose in those distant lands from time to time, but I really wanted was an Odyssey. Fortunately, my father traveled routinely to the big city. I remember the day when, at about 3 am he came up with that huge box. It was magical, just opened the box, all with one thing new smell. Read all the manuals, warranty certificates, Odyssey Adventure magazine included in the package. I slept very little, around 8 am was standing, eager to turn the Odyssey and enjoy it. I spent the day playing Speedway, Spin-ou and Crypto-logic, which were games on the cartridge accompanying the product. Whenever my father went to São Paulo, new games appeared. I remember one morning I had a lazy to get out of bed. My mother said, "Your father brought cartridges". It was enough that I jumped out of bed and immediately ran to the room to see the news, my first games were (after the 3 in 1):  Freedom Fighters, UFO, Showdown in 2100 A.D.and P.T.Barnum Acrobats. One day I got a dream that my father had brought new games and hidden under the bed. One was "The Secret of Pharaohs " on waking got to peek under the bed, but it was a really a dream. As promised in the previous post, intended to do in the month of March, a month dedicated to monsters, had intended to start it with a different post. In last Thursday was my birthday father, called to congratulate him, but he was not well. The next day, he got worse and had to make an emergency trip. Fortunately, now he looks better. These events, in a way brought those memories to the surface. It is sad to think that this young and healthy man who brought new games on their trips to the big city. Does not bring more games, and the worst is not as young and healthy as it used to be. Because my love of monsters, used to ask my father that he brought the "The Quest FOr The Rings" But his quest for "The Quest" never left fruitful. No problem, each of the games I won a great time my childhood. Thanks, Dad! The Quest For The  Rings was one of the games that made me choose the Odyssey. Before the advent of video games, my one of my great passions were the movies with amazing creatures of Ray Harryhausen. With video games, it was like I could live those wonderful adventures. Everything in the "Quest" was incredibly well done, the cover art to the items in the package, made the game a true masterpiece. In addition to the "Quest", another game that fascinated me, at first, was the "Power Lords".

Few monsters inhabited the Odyssey universe. In addition to these previously mentioned, are the space creature from Alien game. Another game, very interesting, call up "Le Tresor englouti". Unfortunately, this was not released here. Currently, we have the great creatures of the Mage series and many others should arise. The G7400 had a game called Norseman, which in my opinion is the best of scarce exclusive library. For the reasons already described, I decided to try to make a Norseman version compatible with our Odyssey and it is with this that I close the post this week.
