ARTE REVELADA! (click here for english version)

ENGLISH:

In the last 06 began the reservations for my new game, Forbidden Lands, which can be ordered at: http://www.videopac.fr. As stated earlier, this time we chose to leave the cover illustration in the hands of an artist and the result was impressive. Both the cover of the game and the manual design rescues modernly the classic Odyssey manuals. Another detail that made me happy is that the Odyssey version of the manual contains eight pages, is something that I have insisted with publishers, even because the manuals 4 pages look more like folder.
I have spoken of Forbidden Lands in recent posts, but had not revealed the artist behind it. The Belgian artist Greg "Zemial" Malasiewiez was responsible for the cover of the game and also kindly prepared the advertising piece next. Of course, we have great artists among fans of Odyssey / Videopac like Robert Janzl or Earl Green already present us with great covers. Also, I have my friend Alessandro who helped me creating the characters for the cover of Wildlife! Zemial, but has an incredible portfolio as regards the creation and concept of characters. You can check out the work Zemial directly on your website:http://www.zemial.com, of course, would like to thank him for the care and affection with which they dedicated to our project. Below is a promotional video of the game:

I have the feeling, that with this game Videopac/Odyssey2 homebrew releases reach a new and higher level.

First a new adventure game with great gfx, more than one screen and plus support.

Then a great cover from a real artist with an 8 pages manual. Also we get a poster of this great cover. An amazing advertising for the poster. And last but not least a wonderful video.

I want to say say THANKS to all, to make the game of the year (for me) possible!

I really loved it. All the artistic part of the project is amazing, a beautiful product to have in the collection. Of course, this just reflected in the price, remains to be seen how other people will react to this.

For me, the price is more than ok, for that what we get. I hope, our friends see this also. Finally we get something really special.

Both versions will also get a special place in my collection!
