No dia de hoje, como acontece em todo dois de setembro, eu ganho mais um ponto no meu escore da vida. Tomado por um sentimento de nostalgia e reflexão decidi fazer uma postagem no blog. No meio desta semana decidi dar início a um projeto que estava engavetado há algum tempo. Trata-se de Antartic Adventure, um conhecido jogo da Konami. É como se fosse um Enduro com pinguim! Na verdade, minha inspiração para este projeto foi o trecho da música The Skater's Waltz, Op. 183 de Émile Waldteufel que é executada durante o jogo. Sei que nosso amigo, altamente talentoso, René Van Den Enden tem um interessante projeto para inserir músicas nos jogos do Odyssey então pensei que Antartic Aventure seria o tipo de jogo ideal. Pretendia disponibilizar um vídeo do jogo mas como havia dito meu PC teve problemas recentemente e ainda estou sem programa para gravação de vídeo. Vejam a imagem do jogo, abaixo. Por hoje isto é tudo, daqui a pouco preciso ir buscar meu bolinho, Tchau!

Today, as happens every second of September, I earn one more point in my life score. Taken by a feeling of nostalgia and reflection I decided to make a blog post. In the middle of this week I decided to start a project that was shelved some time ago. This is Antartic Adventure, a well known Konami game. It's like an Enduro with a penguin! In fact, my inspiration for this project was the excerpt from The Skater's Waltz, Op. 183 by Émile Waldteufel that runs during the game. I know that our highly talented friend, René Van Den Enden has an interesting project to insert songs into the Odyssey games so I thought that Antartic Aventure would be the ideal type of game. I wanted to make available a video of the game but as I said my PC had problems recently and I still have no video recording program. See the game image below. For today, that's all, I need to get my cake soon, Bye!

One of my favorite MSX games. I loved the cute Penguin and the music in the game. I was really jealous, when I noticed, that Colecovision also get this game from Opcode Games.
And now you work on it. I never thought, that this game were possible for Videopac. Can`t wait to see a video. I hope, that you can finish it soon.

Opcode make really nice projects, but I´m not sure if the Antartic Adventure for Coleco was made for Opcode, I think it was made in the mid of 80s.
In fact the Odyssey can make more them we used to expect, but in most of caseswe will only know if it works or not during the works, one step at a time, only time will tell (Nelson Brothers).
