1...2...3...TESTANDO! (click here english version)

ENGLISH:

I intended to do a new post only at the weekend, but as today (tomorrow, to be exact) is a holiday here, suddenly, I found myself in idleness (of course you should be doing exercise, but this is annoying), then I decided to look for some program to record emulator videos. Found in Superdownloads, a program called Screen Recorder Free and the word "free" caught my eye. It is a good program, previously I had tried other programs, which left the slow play. Another advantage of this freeware is the ability to record audio. Recommend this program, but if you decide to use it someday, be careful at installation time or you may end up installing crap such as Baidu, among other garbage.
Once installed the program decided to test it. I had some difficulties in the beginning, although he has a "Full Screen" option, it did not work with the O2em (Odyssey videogame emulator). So, I found a good option called "free hand mode" with which, as the name says, you manually select the area to be recorded. Of course I used the free time to do some videos and share them here. I'll talk a little about the  project provisional called "Mission 147". The game gets its name because, you command a sophisticated Fiat 147 red. Why not a yellow Camaro? Well, we are in 1983, remember this. So let to the game. As you'll notice in the video below (f you are reading this post it means that I  could post the video), the game has some similarities with the game Moon Patrol, but will not be an exact copy. Often, when I think of developing a game, I like to follow the "Odyssey ideology." Take a classic arcade game and become an orginal game. Thus were born many cool ideas as Pick Axe Pete, UFO, Blockout, Looney Ballon etc. We also have the Alien Invaders Plus which is not exactly a classic (and very ugly, too), but the idea is cool. In the first video, a demonstration of the mechanics of the game. In fact, this was the last update I did in the game, you will notice, inside the vehicle, a small "driver" that will not be seen in other videos. Another update in the game and the "scroll" in the city that is set the background:

In the next video you will know the enemies of the game, the first one is the "Hopping". Probably, Philips would calls it  of "Pula-Pula*" if he had not already used this name in the game Q * Bert.

The second enemy is called "Bomber" because that's how things worked at the time. I remember the movie Krull, here the characters received the most possible generic names. The monster was called Monster, the old man called Old Man and so on. So, in closing this Carnival edition, watch the video of the "Grenadier" in action and have a good week.

* Pula-Pula (Jump-Jump) was the name used by Philips in one of the Q * Bert enemies. It seems that Philips of Brazil enjoyed using repetition of names in characters. Besides Pula-Pula, we had the famous Come-Come and the Cri-Cri (The running O2 man in  Pachinko)

I would like to include more videos, but the colors on emulator don´t match in the most of times. Keep watching.
