GROTTOS & GIANTS! (click here english version)

Vamos ver...

Finishing the month of monsters, I present Grottos & Giants. I began this project a few years, this is an RPG for our favorite console. Unfortunately, although perhaps one of the projects I have more interest in concluding, I must say that he walks a snail's pace. The reasons: The game involves a lot of data as battles, choice of characters, purchase and sale of weapons, fine, all those characteristic features of a classic RPG game and there are many things I'm not sure I can do. Also, I'm not sure what the console can do, but I think the main problem is my knowledge, even.
Anyway, let's talk about the game. G & G consists of two screens. One representing the villages. Here, the player can visit the shops to buy swords, potions, shells and the like. You may also stop at a hotel to save the game.
By leaving the villages the player will visit the mazes. In the bottom of the screen, the player will guide their characters through the maze. Here the player will find friends, treasures and other items required for adventure. And of course, the best everything: monsters! I hope you can include in the project a considerable amount of creatures. We´ll see...

Hi Rafael!

A really complex game. Last week I wished a Zelda game for Videopac. And now you come up with a RPG for Videopac/Odyssey. And it looks fantastic.
I saw the screenshots at your homepage and now I know what it is.
I hope, that the console have enough power to do what you want. But when I see your released games I have no doubt. In my opinion, you have more than enough program skills to bring this game to an wonderful end!

Hi Tom,
I think Ody can do a good RPG, but I still thinking the next steps to continue it. For example, in Wall Street console proved the power to do buy/sell thing. I´m thinking to use the keyboard to show shop items. Prpbably a RPG for Ody is what I more like to see 8^)

Really nice idea Rafael.
You could also use the battle system as used in the Final Fantasy games.
I am sure it must be possible to implement that in an O2 game.

Hi Robert. Yes, a RPG for Odyssey really would be nice. I´m really thinking about something in the line of Final Fantasy for battles, also 4 characteres etc. But before Level up the characters I need to Level Up my skills. I hope, one day we can see it on our Ody!
