HORROR OF DRACULA! (click here for english version)

O cemitério dará acesso a todas as outras áreas relevantes nesta primeira parte do jogo.

I wrote something about the  Horror of Dracula project in the week we lost the great actor Christopher Lee (learn more here). It had been some time since worked in this game and it ends up becoming a big problem, because ended losing a lot of programming logic, you go back to the code and can not interpret what you wrote. But gradually things are becoming clear, so I could move a little in the project. This time I made a video of the first part of the adventure. To make the job easier, removed collisions with enemies. The following will describe each of the rooms visited, important to note that some objects are out of place. The game begins in the cemetery. The cemetery will provide access to all other relevant areas in this first part of the game. The left and right, the player will see the entries that lead to the mausoleums in each of them there will be objects to be caught, but the player also find traps. At the bottom, the player will find an abandoned presidio where the player must solve a small puzzle. Completed the necessary actions the player will have access to the tomb of Mine which is divided into two sections. In this first part Mina is a kind of boss, it is the guardian of the key that opens the gates leading to Dracula's castle, but that's a topic for an upcoming episode.

I am a big fan of your black and white horror games, since you show us the first time. The horror starts with a grey SELECT GAME. Wonderful!

When I see, what you have till know, I hope, you will make more games like this. There is so much horror out there...A Videopac Black & White HORROR Series were great!

Do you think, there will be later, an animation of, for example the spider, possible?

Too bad, that we can`t get the black and white cover, that you show us the first time. This were one of the best Odyssey covers I ever saw.

Yes, since it´s planned to e a series I expect to create at least other titles, involving Werewolf and Frankstein for instance. But well,in fact there´s a lot of things I wish to do for our Odyssey that sometimes I felt lost. Some animations are planned, in fact actually there´s some animation (effects) on the game that I skipped to avoid some kind of spoiler, I think it´s a kind of game that the player needs to solve by your own. ABout the cover, I really like to give this series something different like was done with Master Stratgy, so I expect to get some cover like that one. Actually, for Forbiden Lands we contaced an artist for the cover, if the case, we can follow this way for Terror Series, but the first steps are to get the games ready.

Sounds very good Rafael. I wish you much luck with this game and that you can put in all what you want and that it all work well.

Can`t wait to see the cover from Forbidden Lands. I am sure it will look great.

Happy easter to the other side of the world Rafael!
